Why is everyone saying NE? Is their WR corps really on par with Indy's? No. Do they have a better running attack than either SD or Indy? No. Is their offensive line any better than the Chargers or Colts? No. Is their defense better than the Chargers? No. Is their special teams better than the Chargers or Colts? Not really. Their DBs? Scorched for over 300 yards by Manning in the greatest comeback in AFC Championship histrory. Did the Colts and Charger suddenly just get worse after the draft? No. The Pats have ONLY guaranteed they will win the AFC East again, which is not that big of a deal anymore. Will they win a lot of games? Yes. Are they a lock for the Super Bowl? No.

Undoubtedly, they got much better, but seriously, Welker/Stallworth/Moss/Watson=Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Anthonly Gonzalez and Dallas Clark? Not likely. Their RB is certainly not equal to LT, and was outplayed by the Colts rookie RB last year, even though he platooned with Rhodes, who was much healthier and a better back than Dillon last year.

The Colts are the best until proven otherwise, and if Norv does not screw with anything too much, the Bolts will be back at the top of the AFC again. Their offense, which was lead by basically a rookie QB won 14 games in the regular season, folks. He is only going to get better and LT is the most dominant RB in the league. Pats are nothing but also-rans at this point.

YES

lets see who they lost

nick Harper: marlin Jackson is going to take his place and is even better than nick Harper Harper just started because of experience

Cato June: great LB but poor tackler and contributor to poor run defense now they have someone who is a better tackler and a notch below in pass coverage and still really good at it

mike doss: two words Antoine bethea, he is better

Jason David: Damion Hughes a first round talent who dropped majorly because of a hamstring injury which slowed his forty time they also have some young talented experienced players in kelvin Hayden and Tim Jennings

Montea Reagor: Anthony McFarland was acquired last year and is better than Montea Reagor much better

Dominic Rhodes: didn't even rush for 1000 yards last year biggest reason for being productive was great o-line and when he went in in the playoffs the defense was exhausted and he just Burst through the hole Joseph Addia is much better and great running back who is expected to make the pro bowl next year and most experts believe he will be a superstar with that o-line a 2nd running back will be easily replaceable Dominic Rhodes was undrafted just to prove it

Brandon stokley: was injured for the playoffs and they won the Superbowl and they have person who is even better in Anthony Gonzalez who will catch short passes and run like hell when safeties play deep which is what they did in the playoffs and a huge reason they won the Superbowl they threw short passes chewing up clock and exhausting the defense

i believe they are actually younger and better than last year

dallas - no chance. new coach, owens and glenn gettin' old, Romo won't know what to do.

saints? Maybe NFC champs, but I doubt even that. last year was a complete fluke

san diego - too many changes, they're confused. It ain't happening.

Colts - sorry, unless they get help like they did last year against the pats (face guarding? WTF), they've LOST too much talent. "Welker/Stallworth/Moss/Watson=... Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Anthonly Gonzalez and Dallas Clark?" More than just equal...way better

Pats, baby, all the way. With the Golden Arm of TB and FINALLY some _real_ high end receivers. Laurence Maroney - the best cut back this team has seen since Curtis Martin. Adelius Thomas on defense now..........PATS, BABY, ALL THE WAY
