U think they gonna replace someone new? That game show been going on forever, before I was even born and I hope they continue haveig the game show! even if bob not gonna be the hot, he will be remembered anyways!

He wants to retire, he is in his 80's. They will replace him, so they don't have to cancel the show.

Maybe he's finally tired of working---after all he's in his 80's and has done the show for what now 40 YEARS?????? most people retire between 55 and 70 so quite possibly he wants to do some traveling or just relaxing in his golden years that he has left....

I think they will replace him, the show is still too popular to just let it end.
As for why he is leaving, I think it is because at age 83, he is ready to retire.
