Hands down,,,without a doubt, I would have to go with Tyrus Raymond Cobb....a lifetime .367 batting average, among many other records that he still holds. Ty Cobb is arguably the greatest hitter the game has ever seen. Mays eas good, but he couldn't hold a candle to Cobb.
