I usually can predict the outcome of my question after only 1 hour!!!

After two hours, I think nobody else is even looking that far back on the questions page.

Sometimes I may ask a psychology question and put it in the
"psychology category" & get only 2 answers after 4 hours!
then i ask the SAME question here in "Polls&Surveys"
and I usually get 5 to 20 answers within 1-2 hours
if the question is pertaining to sex(or a related subject) then i get 20 or more answers in the First minute!
i think it's actually appropriate to put almost all questions in the "Polls&Surveys" section
MORE questions after 4 hours? YES! I have! (Only IF you extend the question expiration!)

It's funny that you say that because most of the time the answers do come after an hour. One in a while I've got a few more stragglers but for the most part my decision on the best answer has already been decided. Great question!

Slim to none. That is a good point that you bring up - why wait 6 hours to choose a best answer when chances are after 4, there will be NO more answers.

The chances increased a little with having the "my network" otherwise, your questions pretty much dead after an hour, why they make us wait 4 is beyond me...

for whatever reason, my answers tend to be strung out over time. i get a few when the question is first posted, and then a few more a few hours later, and usually one or two the next day.

I know I hate the wait. Sometimes its good tho because your contacts can see it when they sighn on and answer it. But like you said im ready in like 1 hour to choose best answer!
