I was just thinking about that recently. I used to find an occasional twenty, a five, and dollars here and there. I even found a wallet stuffed with 100's and 20's. $600 cash and a non designated check made out for $1200, that's $1800 I gave back. Not before I had an all out tug of war with my inner conscience. My good nature gave in and I returned the wallet with every dollar intact to the police station. I got a phone call from the wallet's owner and a thank you. He was in town on vacation with his family. He asked me if there was anything I would like as a reward. I think I told him I wanted a pie from Marie Calendars. Any way I never heard back from him. Guess my only reward for that good deed was a thank you and the satisfaction of knowing that I did the right thing. Now instead of finding money I think I am just trying to do a better job of holding on to the money I have.

I found a $5 bill in front of 7-11 last week bought a $5 scratch ticket and won $100. I am always finding loose change. In high school I delvivered newspapers before school, and on trash day I would search peoples trash(let me finish because I know someone is saying gross) Not trash is trash bags but boxes---I found a wallet with $300 in it---I knew the person at that house so I returned it to them---they gave me $50 of it. Also found in trash baseball cards, playboy magazines--I sold them to guys in school---made me a killing----Hint: Where to find lots of loose change---shopping malls parking lot and bus stops.

Yeah but mostly change. I did find a 20 dollar bill before. I just politely picked it up and kept walking.

I found $500 in twenties in the mall parking lot not to long ago. Overall, I think I have found money over three times but not always in the street. I have bought things at garage sales and thrift stores that had money left in them (purses, bibles, other books)
