I was just told by my apartment complex that we are no longer allowed to have propane cylinders larger then 2.5 pounds. I dont want to get rid of my grill, so is there anything out there that I would be able to use and hook up to my current gril that is no more then 2 1/2 pounds?

You sure can do this. But first it would be a better idea to look to the propane gas rather than the natural gas dryers. Propane like you are thinking of getting is far more readily available. You would just have to run the gas through a regulator to get the proper pressure for the dryer to run on. This you MUST do. An explosion or fried clothes could result. I would suggest at least a 100 pound cylinder for this. A local propane outlet can set you up with everything to hook this up.

The cylinders at Walmart are 16.4 ounces. They are made for camp stoves. They also hook up to Bernz-o-matic torches. They will not attach to a grill unless it is a camp grill (6 burger model)

Sounds like your apartment management loves charcoal. I remember seeing small tanks at Wal-mart in the camping section. But for your grill to be able to use it sounds pretty far-fetched...

Your local hardware store or tool shop should have the small ones. They are often used by plumbers, so a plumbing shop might also carry them.
