I take my birth control every morning at 11 a.m. and was wondering if I could abruptly change it, like at the start of the next cycle of pills to a night time without it changing? I'd like to avoid the slow effect of changing it over time because it would be difficult for me to manage.

Everyone is missing a bit of the point, I'm on the placebo's and I want to start at night on the next cycle. I understand that it will render it ineffective if I do this in the middle of a cycle.

Change your pill time on your next pill pack, around the time your period is starting.

I didn't miss your point. Like I said, change your pill time on the next pill pack. You should be fine. If you are worried, use extra protection for a week or so.

If you're going to take them at 11am one day and then wait until the pm the following day, you should use another form of birth control for the next few days because in those few hours that you "missed" a pill, your body will start going back to normal. Or just hold off on having intercourse for a few days until it's back in your system at full force.

I don't think it would be a problem if you change the time when you start the next pack. However i would use a back up method of BC, like a condom for the first month just to be on the safe side

well I suppose you could but it increases your chances of getting pregnant while on the pill ALOT while your body adjusts to the new time. Stay safe.
