Regardless of what 'kind' of girl your are, you should listen to the type of music that pulls you in! Whatever appeals to you, not what everyone thinks should appeal to your demographic... Now how loud you play it is up to your mother :-)

Not wrong at all. I turned 50 this year and I have listened to metal of all kinds since its beginnings. Tho I do think metal is something u like and can identify with or u totally dont understand it or like. Doesnt seem to be a middle ground for it.

Nothing wrong with black metal, been listening to it for a long time, but sometimes you need to branch out a little so you can remember why you listen to it instead of anything else, I listen to a lot of different stuff cause I learned that it's better for me. You do what's best for you.

There is nothing wrong with listening to specific types of music. I myself made very good grades in both high school and college, I don't drink or do drugs and have been into heavy metal since the 1980's.

Why would it be wrong? Metal is not a man's music, it belongs to anyone whp likes it. We need more female metal enthusists, plus there are alot of newer metal bands with female singers that kick a** - and I'm not talking the watered down evenessence bullcrap you hear on the radio, these chicks can rock. Look at the newest OZZfest bill you can find one or two on there.

As long as you don't go out burning churches and stabbing people. A lot of the guys involved in the early days of black metal were bell-ends, they made good music though.

I'm inclined to agree with the people who say that it isn't wrong. When I was in HS, I used to listen to Venom, and perhaps some similar groups to a lesser degree. I was angry and alienated and, in a weird way I felt most people couldn't understand, there was something cathartic about listening to something that intense. As long as you don't take the lyrics to heart there's no problem. Enjoy!

Of course not! It's just sorta rare to find a girl with better taste in music besides the pop, emo crap the music industry seems to shove down our throats. You've already discovered that there is great music out there beyond the radio, keep it up!

It's not wrong. Why should it be. Listen to whatever you like, as long as it makes you feel good
