I love LOST and heard that it's popularity is dying down.

I used to love the show. Now, I don't get too upset if I miss it. It's mostly turned into the Jack, Kate, Juliet and Sawyer show, and I'm so sick of their lame love quadrangle that it's killed the rest of the show for me. We hardly ever see anyone else for more than a few minutes at a time - Rose and Bernard haven't been seen at all this season, and they're a really cute couple.

I think killing off Jack and Kate would really improve the show. Sawyer can stay because he's fun with Hurley and more interesting when he's not part of a bad love story, but Jack and Kate and their dull romance have ruined the show for me.

I think they lost (no pun intended) some of the viewing audience that watches it live because it moved to 10:00 pm. Also, they lost some audience members because they had that big hiatus in the winter. Other shows such as Jericho did the same thing and suffered as well.

Next season, they plan to premier late in the season and run all 23 episodes straight through (with maybe a week off it they start before Christmas).

But, like someone else mentioned, when you count the people who record it digitally or watch online, the numbers are up there.

It's a great show, and I can't wait for tonight's episode!!

I think it is just weeding out the people who are not really true Lost fans.... lol

Lost isn't a show where you can just watch an episode here and there.. I think that is why some people don't like it and get confused etc.. when they only watch an occasional episode...

It requires a big commitment to watch Lost and like I mentioned in another question it doesn't spoon-feed you answers, you have to do some thinking yourself....

I love the show and hope they don't just suddenly take it off the air..... (I do know they have an ending in site but you never know)

Heard the rumor, but honestly I dont know how the popularity is dying down. Its getting better than ever now. I love the show and haven't been this enthralled week to week with any show, since the X-Files went off the air. Can't wait to watch it 3 more seasons!

The ratings may be lower than ever, but it's all good. I'm a big enough fan and I'd watch if I really was the only one left. This last season didn't start off as well as 1 and 2 but these last few episodes put Lost right back in the thick of things

EDIT: Happy Birthday Gunner!!!!!!!!!!

I heard that too, but I disagree. It could have something to do with the fact that they moved back the time that it comes on...but I also heard that it is the number one watched show out of its air time (i.e. DVR and online) I watch it online a lot when I can't catch it on Wednesdays. I can list off of the top of my head 10 of my close friends who are big time fans...I think the show has enough dedicated fans to keep it pretty popular. It's one crazy show!

I love it too, but the popularity has been dying down. The first season really drew people in because of the suspense. Alot of the suspense is gone because alot of the questions have been answered. Although there is plenty more we still have to learn about the island, we do know alot about what is going on.

I have to admit, I was losing faith in the show at the beginning for the 3rd season, especially when they bumped it up an hour later, but something about ti just keeps drawing me and and now its getting really intense. I can not wait to start hearing some answers

I think because most people don't like to come in midway into such a confusing show like this. But to all those true fans (like myself) that have been watching since the beginning, I think it's getting more and more addicting. But it won't be on much longer so enjoy it while you can.
