Depends on what you have and the age. For red-eared sliders, daily (when young) to every other day (when mature) is best so you don't overfeed. See what's recommended for what you have by looking in the care cheets in this link: http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/

All i know is for RES turtles. Twice a day for young turtles. And an occasional treat. Once a day for adults with occasional treats. The younger turtles need more nutrition to grow. I feed mine veggies in the morning and then pellets in the afternoon. And they always have goldfish in the tank. Be careful not to overfeed because turtles don't realize when they are full and will keep begging and eating until they are sick. Dont give in to begging turtles!
