the answer is 21.
The pattern is the difference between the previous number increase by 1 as you go on
ie. 1+2 = 3; 3+3 = 6; 6+4 = 10; 10+5 = 15; 15+6 = 21
Hope that helps

First of all your answer will be 21. The pattern is since you started off with 1 you add 2 to get 3 you add 3 to get 6 you add 4 to get 10 you add 5 to get 15 then you add 6 to get 21 so forth.

Those are known as the 'triangular' numbers.
Put 1 at the peak of a triangle
next row +2 = 3
next row + 3 = 6
next row +4 = 10
next row +5 = 15
next row +6 = 21
next row +7 = 28
etc
See how you're building a triangle of from the peak down?
