Take it from someone who's been to quite a few independent shows, an old Mid-South show, a live RAW show, three WCW houseshows and two WWE houseshows: The best houseshows are put on by WWE. Big stars actually show up and wrestle. When WCW trotted into town, they would always announce that big names (at the time) like Hogan, Sting, Nash, Hall, etc. would be at the show. Instead, the biggest name their was Chavo Guerrero or Jeff Jarrett.
WWE put on a great show both times that I attended houseshows. Yes, it's usually dark, but the ring is lighted just fine. Also, you have a better chance of getting great seats at a houseshow than you would at a live event. The show lasts about three hours with a fifteen minute break about halfway through. I recommend bringing posters, especially if your sitting in a ringside area. The wrestlers are more likely to interact with you at a houseshow. At the last one I attended, Booker and Kennedy both singled out people in the crowd for their posters. Booker went as far as to tear up the poster in the person's face.
Have fun at the houseshow. Scream at and boo your favorite heel and cheer on your most beloved face.

dont listen to the person under me... i went to a house show and it was really really good. sure you might be sitting in the dark but it is SOOOO awesome. Their are a whole bunch of lights and the fans are cheering, it is just amazing! The show lasts about 2-2 1/2 hours. If you are going to raw then it will be really fun! When I went i took posters...but you don't have to. Not many people bring their posters..but I suggest if you really want to then you can or else just don't. I took 3 different posters and it was just a pain. Next time I might take only one, so if you really really want one then you can take one, or else just forget it and wear your coolest wwe gear!

It lasts something like 2 hours and something, more than in television I cant tell u the difference between that tickets, the arenas are different... It's a good line up, the results are obvious cause titles usually dont change hands in house shows( but it already happened, i remember Miz and Morrison winning back their titles in a house show) but it's very entertaining. They have good matches, not so good as in PPV's, but sometimes better than in televised shows, also they interact more with the people. U definitely have to go

House show are nto that bad. The big upset does happen every now and again. But if you are going to a house show, take your posters but dont expect the big Titan tron and all the stuff u see on Raw or Smackdown. They last about 2-3 hours.

house shows are great! don't bother with the poster, non-televised show. just enjoy it and take some pictures. you might get a change to meet some of the performers after the show if you are lucky. the last one i went to was 3hrs long. great time, but loud. i envy that you get to go to that show. i have been a wrestling fan for about 27 years now and only have met 1 wrestler, ted dibiase. enjoy!

The best house show I went to was in 2001 when Stone Cold was champ and Rock was WCW champ...
the matches were
Stone Cold and Booker T vs The Rock and Kurt Angle
Rob Van Dam vs Jeff Hardy- Hardcore Match
Undertaker and Kane vs X-pac and Albert AND MORE!!!
but now they kinda suck

Bring your posters and cameras because a house show is worth seeing, plus it's an opprotunity to get up close to the stars and meet them. The house shows are more fan based instead of corprate sponsered so they are twice the fun.

They suck. You are basically sitting in the dark. There is TERRIBLE lighting and terrible sound when someone speaks on te mic. The matches are usually bad, And the show last like 2 and 1/2 hours

I would suspect they are a decent show, you may even get to see what is going to happen on the shows before everyone else.
