I have had few car accidents. After these experiences, I now fear driving, entering speeding cars or other means of transportation. I seem to experience panic attack whenever I struggle to drive. My mind will be telling me that something terrible is about to happen again. I also have phobia for height. I need some help. Thanks for your care and concern. Chuks.

Try to bring more positive feelings while in your car. Make your car a place where you enjoy something. Eat your favourite ice-creem, cake, listen to the music, spend some time doing pleasent things in the car when it is parked. It is strange but any positive feeling we have we start accoiciate with the place and then with time the place will be accociated with pleasant feelings so you will feel nice and safe.

After my head on car crash that landed me in the hospital for 8 months, I didn't drive for about 5 years. I started out driving with my wife with me and just short distances like up to the store and back. Now after 4 years I can drive to certain places that I know how to get to and back by myself. I will never be as comfortable as I used to be. Take baby steps and make someone go with you. It really helped me. Good luck to you. You can do it!

also, I would suggest to listen some smooth music at low volume, and try to relax or think of something that makes you smile/happy.
