CI will not longer be broadcast on NBC, it will instead be going to the USA network with its new episodes. Crossing Jordan is being cancelled which sucks because they will leave people hanging. I am sure they are going to replace the shows with something absolutely crappy. I remember they did the same boneheaded move a few years ago when they cancelled shows such as "The Profiler" "The Pretender" and "The Others" for the stinking XFL. They better make Crossing Jordan a mid season replacement because other than Friday Night lights, the "new" shows they had introduced stank to high heaven

I don't know why everyone keeps saying that they've cancelled Crossing Jordan. They keep calling it the SEASON FINALE. If NBC had cancelled it, it would be referred to as SERIES FINALE. I don't think anyone should assume it's been cancelled, just because Wikipedia says it.

**Besides, they did let Law and Order: Criminal Intent go to USA. And I love Law & Order, so there.

I luv crossing jordan but i think u guyes are over exagerating. Beside they called it a SEASON FINALE not a series finale. And stop blaming Law and order! They had nothing to do with it!And besides all the Law and Order shows are really good. Blame the stupid networking people!

Crossing Jordan was boring. I wish they would cancel Law and Order Criminal Intent and Special Victims Unit. Re-vamp the original and put it on a different nite.

Chels - they did finally start refering to it as the series finale tonight (bit late I think but -shrug-) it has been canceled (sadly).

As for why they canceled it and not L&O or it's sister shows, ratings were lower, personally I think it was coming when they kept putting it off until midseason, which if that's the case, it might be bad news for L&O since they're doing the same thing next season -shrug-

to Chel - nbc has oficially cancelled crossing jordan. check out the upfront guide on thefutoncritic.com for all the networks' fall show guide/cancellations/renewals. i think the reason it's called the season finale & not the series finale is that nbc didn't decide until just recently.
