I'm not a religious person. I think it's fascinating, and I studied it in college, I just don't belong to any particular faith. My only problem with organized religion is that too many people act as though belonging to a church, or having faith, somehow excuses them from the responsibility of thinking for themselves, or forming their own opinions. It makes them very vulnerable to the Haggards and Swaggarts of the world.

I personally don't believe in religion. This doesn't mean I'm not spiritual though. My reasoning for that is religion causes too many problems. It causes families to break up, war, discrimination, segregation, and so much more hate and discontent.
I also don't like the idea of someone telling me to live a certain way or I'm going to be damned to an eternity of misery and despair. I live with morals and ethics. I do the right thing when I know what it is.
I also believe in spirits and supernatural things. I have a kind of weird idea on that. I think everyone has a spirit of their own when they are born. But when they die their spirit goes back into the bigger spirit of mother earth or hang around till they learn all they can learn this time around(hence "ghosts"). I believe in reincarnation. I believe that each spirit lives many lives until they reach omnisciency . Then they become a permanent part of the mother earth spirit.
I also believe everyone has the right to believe in whatever they want to believe in. Kids believe in the Easter bunny and Santa Claus; grown ups believe in god and the devil. To each their own; I always say.

I'm not religious and I don't believe in religion. The beliefs behind the religions is fine and dandy, but the religions themselves, organized churches, and religious leaders, most are corrupt. They're all about power and control and I will have nothing to with that.

I think everyone has the right to choose there own belief, whether you choose Pagan, Christian, Muslim, Agnostic, or Atheist, whatever each person feels is right for them. To me all the different beliefs seems to be a different name for the same thing, I think they're all right and its about personal preference which you choose.

I don't have a specific belief of my own, though I am searching for what I feel to be right for me. So, for now I'm Agnostic, which basically means "not knowing". I do consider myself to be a spiritual person, though not as spiritual as I'd like, I haven't yet learned to quite my mind enough in meditation to fully experience the spiritual realm and to find my inner self.

I don't consider myself to be a religious person, however a spiritual one. I believe in God and Jesus Christ and have a lot of faith. I go to a non denominational church and find it works for me and my beliefs. I was raised Mormon but no longer practice that religion.

I , like many others look to the viewpoints and traditions of others when I feel as though I don't have anything on my own to stand on.
For years, I have read much and practiced various esoteric methods of life and lifestyle in hopes of finding a Right way of living.
Some of denial, others of excess, few of a middle path. Throughout them all, I have found a few common threads.
All of them represent a model of social order, a Proper way of life and interrelation that is purported to Get It Right The First Time.
All of them have deities and/or assorted higher beings that ultimately represent aspects of ourselves.
With few exceptions, all of them repeat the same legends, and the same lessons, just with differing names and faces.
All of the traditions that include godly beings, the focus of reverence to them is a trade-off or sacrifice of some sort for favor later on either in this plane of existence and/or after physical death. Included in this arrangement is an escape clause whereas if events don't go as planned by the worshipper, it is concluded that the deity either Changed Their Mind or never had them in their plans at all.
And the most glaring example of similarity is that each and every one of them are lethally convinced that theirs is the Only, Right way.
So which one is correct? All and None of them.
The few facets out of all of them that makes any sense is self-determination, discipline, and honor. These qualities involve no shame, no guilt, no adherence to dogma or legend, no fear or manner of group-thought to obscure and destroy the minds that humans were born to use.
None of these implicitly involve the participation in a religion of any sort. I'll take what I feel and think for myself.

Religion or lack thereof and our beliefs are a personal matter. I do not believe in, nor do I follow any 'organized religion.' I am spiritual and I am pagan, with a Wiccan background. (I was raised Lutheran)

I don't concider myself a religious person. I am a spiritual person believing in God as being omnipresent. I believe in angels and Jesus but I also think that the Bible is too literal to be followed as the fundamentalist do.

This is a question that gets people grumpy. But, I'll answer anyways. I was raised Catholic. Now, I find myself just spiritual and I do believe in God but I'm not for organized religion anymore. It's fine for people that are, but it's not for me.

I consider myself a spiritual person. I am not drawn to organized services of any sort. I believe that a power bigger than me guides my life and I am where I am supposed to be every second of every day.
