Yes, and put dryer sheets in your underwear, you could last weeks like that.

it really depends on your level of activity, what you do that could make you dirty, how much you sweat, and where you work.
Just be sure to wash your hands after taking a potty break. Anyone who doesn't is just gross. Ugh.
Honestly, though, don't go for more than three days without a shower. It's best to shower every day for any job, but if you're not working and just lounging around the house I'd say it's fine to be un-hygienic.
You should also never wear shirts more than once between washings (pants and such I usually say 2-3 times is ok). I don't care how "clean" they smell, they just get worse as the second day goes by.
However, if people tell you that your smell starts to bother them, please take a shower. And please use soap. I only say this because I had a roommate who didn't shower for a long time and when I complained he started taking 2-3 showers daily. The only problem was that he never used soap. Or deodorant. And he never did laundry and wore the same things. So the smell never went away. It just got worse.
As for covering up these smells, people will know by the distinct scent of what you're using to know that you're covering up a stench. It's safer to just not HAVE a stench in the first place.

A lot of the old hippies used patchouli oil, personally I don't care for ot, but to each their own....the longest one shoud go without a shower is 2 days....

Why shower if you're just going to be rolling around in it again? Although, the shower is a great way to break the monotony of the same scene over and over.

oh my god! lol lmao this is nuts! you shouldnt go more than a day without a shower, because after that who knows what is crawling on ya by then! lol and no febreeze doesnt work, my friend tried that and he use to have a funny smell about him lol

If you can smell yourself, you've gone too long. Patchouli is really strong and I'd use it only if you're homeless.

12 hours max, and all the scents and deoderizers in the world will not cover up the stink for long.
