Men have been more homophobic in my experience.

While I have met some women who are homophobic, for the most part it's mostly men.

Men are way more homophobic in my experience. They act like if a gay man sits near them they'll break out in hives. It's ridiculous.

Women, surprisingly. I think it's because i'm a lesbian and close-minded women assume that all lesbians are attracted to them automatically ( I tell them to stop flattering themselves cuz they aren't that lucky). Men think it's hot. Which irritates me also. lol.

Men. Those afflicted are afraid that it is somehow a loss of status in their man-group and they are insecure (which is a loss of status in their mind already).
