I really don't think it has served it's purpose for good. I know that sounds dumb cause I'm on here. But I don't have a computer at home and I won't for the simple fact that I don't want some pervert scamming my 3yr old when she turns 13.
By the way I told my hubby I want to buy a shotgun to clean on the front porch when her dates arrive to pick her up. I figure it would be more scary to she a mom with a gun.

It could possibly be both. It is very helpful and great to explore and learn, however, on the other hand, many people have become so attached to the computer that they are losing their social skills. The internet has also brought out all the perverts who think they can hide here. It is both good and bad depending on how it is used.

the worst thing you can find your information with out the internet its called your local public library that place is full of useful information, and it keeps kids from not getting there work done instead of gaming.

Iit all depends on how it's used. It's just a tool, like a car, a TV, a radio, or anything else. If it's used responsibly then its good, if it's not, then it's bad.

It was my dream that I could learn anything I wanted, by simply asking.

I think it's GREAT! It helps me keep more in touch with my family.. I am a very bad letter writer but I am not too bad at all for emailing!
