Well, a stomach virus or mild food poisoning leap immediately to mind. It can also be related to head injury (if you're having vomiting after a conk on the noggin, go see your doctor plz), and literally dozens of other ailments ranging from trivial to serious..

If you're having morning-sickness type symptoms (not constant, feeling pretty okay otherwise) and you know you aren't pregnant, try taking steps to maintain your blood sugar levels. Eat several small meals daily rather than one big meal, consume a healthy balance of protein, carbs, and fat, and if it doesn't get better after a few days, call up your doctor.

Other possibilities could be that whatever you ate did not agree with your stomach. You could be lactose intolerant. There could be many reasons for your symptoms. But if the vomiting continues, I would recommend that you see your doctor. It could be more serious. Stomach ulcers could also be a reason.
