I had some stable job history From 1975 to 2005. Mention not from any agencies.
Recently, I am having a problem trying keep a job. When I apply an agent gets in some how. It last from one-day to ninety-days. It sucks. It is hard to avoid these agencies.
Are you in the boat? If yes, say your location.
Thanks.

Let me understand you correctly... are you saying you've applied for jobs but they let you go because they'd rather go through a temp agency? Or are you saying you are with a temp agency and the jobs they give you have only been temporary? Now I've gone through a temp agency, that's how I got my current job. They did hire me on permanent and full time. I worked there for 6 months until they decided to hire me. You need to let your temp agency know you're looking for permanent work and not temporary work. They can work with you. I'm from Columbus, OH.

Not that I've heard of. I certainly haven't had any luck with it. The company I currently work for had me start through a temp agency, as they do with all their employees. But the temp agency didn't find me this job, I did that myself.

Plus, you get less pay through temps. You may start at a wage of $8, but the company you work at is paying $18 for you. If they don't have that extra to pay, they may pay you a little more. Granted, companies always have extra employee expenses besides wages.

My advice - Find a full time permanent job without the services of a temp agency.
