Do you think that people should have abortions?

Do you think that people should be allowed to have abortions or should it be Illegal? Do you feel that it's murder?

I think people should be able to have RESPONSIBLE abortions. I do not think people should use abortions as birth control. I would only like to see abortions be used in times that the mother's physical health depended upon it. I do not think 3rd trimester abortions should be allowed. They should remove the child, because it is a child by that point and can survive outside of the womb, and place them up for adoption. Those are just a few of my thoughts.

I do not believe people should have abortions. I do not know at what point during the process between conception and delivery when a fertilized egg becomes a human life. I, therefore prefer to err on the side of safety and not allow the termination of a pregnancy unless the choice is between the life of the mother and the life of the child.

I could not care less about the rights of the mother, the father or anyone else. The focus should be on the unborn life which is totally innocent. Women have been granted the gift of child bearing. This is something no man can ever experience. Along with this gift comes responsibility. If a woman does not want to accept the responsibility she should give up the gift and have herself sterilized. Then she can behave however she wishes. But if she cherishes the gift she should accept the fact that her behavior has consequences and behave accordingly.

Men have the gift of creating life in women. If he cherishes the gift he will act responsibly. If he does not wish to behave responsibly he, too, should have himself sterilized. Then he need not concern himself. However, to be a man and have the gift, you must act like a man not like a brutish beast.

I'll tell you that I would never chose to have an abortion, and I would encourage adoption as an option in almost every case. On the other hand, since I'm not going to carry nor raise the child it's none of my business what another woman chooses to do. Illegal abortions only mean unsafe abortions, not no abortions. That cat was let out of the bag too many years ago, people will continue to follow their conscience and morals, no matter how we legislate.

abortion should not be used as birth control. and until men can have babies themselves i don't believe that men have the right to say what a women may want to do on the topic of abortion. and it should be the womans choice, not the government or the supreme court. if roe vs. wade is overturned then that will only create back alley abortions again. let's not let history repeat itself.

Not all killing is murder... What would you call the act of forcing a woman to bear and raise an unwanted child? What about condemning a child to live unwanted/unloved? The only authority in this matter is the woman in question.

I think with a growing population, abortions should be more common. Intelligent people know that the idea of a "soul" is a myth and that a baby is not considered an intelligent life form.

i do NOT think people should have abortions.
murder is: illegaly and purposely taking the life of another human being. after a little baby is formed in the womb, it is then a life, given by God, not to be taken by anyone but Him.

I feel that the gov't should not intrude in personal medical decisions.

It is legal and has been held up by our highest court in the land.
