Some women have low progesterone which causes miscarriages. I found this out during infertility testing and was put on a progesterone vaginal suppository. I stay on it the 1st trimester and after 13 Weeks a women's body naturally takes over and produces it.

I really dont know of anything that can prevent a miscarriage that you can take. I think your best bet is to get a good pre-natal vitamin and just take it easy... no heavy lifting and strenuous activity.. you dont need bed rest but the less you strain yourself and the less stress you have the better for you and the baby.

When you get home from work try to put your feet up and lay down as much as you can within reason. Have a friend or your boyfriend/hubby help you with lifting.

Good Luck..

Most miscarriages are due to chromosomal abnormalities. There is nothing you can do to prevent it. As we get older the eggs we have left have more and more abnormaltities, because the good eggs are released more oftem when we are below the age of 35.
