Robert was a younger brother of John F. Kennedy. He was appointed Attorney General by his brother when he was President. Later, he was elected to the US Senate from the state of New York. He was an enemy of organized crime, and he was assassinated after giving a speech when he was running for President to unseat the incumbent from his own party, Lyndon B. Johnson. Further, there is strong evidence he had an affair with Marilyn Munroe and was suspected by some to have had much to do with her death.

Another one of Joe and Ethel Kennedy's sons. He was JFK's Attorney General during that administration. Later, he also ran for President, but was assassinated before the Democratic Party Convention was held. Supposedly, he was primarily responsible for the peaceful solution to the Cuban missile crisis.
