You are absolutely right, it doesn't. But that's only one of their problems. I lived in the DC area for close to 30 years and it grew a lot faster during Republican administrations...

This is the part Liberals just don't get. It's not the being against abortion part thats as important as the cause that possibly leads to abortion that is the problem.
Most conservatives mindsets is that if your old enough to breed, your old enough to take care of the possible end result. If people want to engage in sex without protection or precautions they run that high risk of pregnancy.
Using abortion to cover up a FU is murder in our minds.

That being said. I'm okay with abortions if a pregnancy is a result of rape or incest, or if it endangers the mothers life.

For the feminist out there that say, your a guy. When you can get pregnant, then you can have a say. WRONG. I'm HUMAN. We all have a say in something that is very sensitive by nature.

I think it's more a way of trying to make people more responsible sexually. If you can't just kill your mistakes maybe you'll be more careful. This can reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies thus lowering the number of abortions.
However, I think the federal government should not be getting involved in personal lives. What they should do is reduce the federal tax burden. This will allow families and communities to take care of their own. It reduces the federal intrusion into our personal lives and will help them to refocus on defense which, constitutionally is the federal government's main function.

Prohibiting murder doesn't really seem to fall in that category. Wanting the government to pay for abortions does.

No it just means you are against the murder of an innocent life and wish the selfish people who were for it would go to jail since they believe that murder is ok
