No, there are too many factors for why children act violent. It is most likely a combination of watching violent tv, games, movies, and poeple around them being violent. There has not been a conclusive study showing one thing that makes kids violent. Also, violence in children could be from mental disorders like sociopathy/antisocial disorder even though thats more rare.

I have mixed views on this subject. I have a 3 year old son, and I have stopped allowing him to watch any cartoons or TV shows that have fighting or combat in them. A couple of months ago he started copying some of the fight moves and was truly hurting his 4 year old sister. He was not doing it to be mean, he thought it was playing.
When he is old enough to know that his actions can cause people pain, I will allow him to watch them again.

No!! I think its the kids themselves and the current day lack of proper parental discipline that is making our children violent today. Video games and movies are merely a scapegoat for what is really the problem.

I haven't seen the video, but I can state that watching violence tends to make you more used to it. It tends to make little kids imitate it.
I remember when I was young and my brothers and I would watch The Three Stooges. We'll slap each other around exactly like they did. My parents said no more three stooges, and we stopped doing it. (I thought it was most unfair at the time.)

It doesn't really cause them to act violent. It does desensitize them to violence and killing, so if they are not raised to respect life, they are more susceptible to lashing out in a violent and deadly manner.
