Read the darn book and write an essay!! It's not that hard, it's a pretty short book.

Do your own homework!!

To write an essay you need to find a subject for it....I would read the book and then figure out what you want to write about. Pick a topic and then decide what 3 points you want to use to describe, argue, or prove the subject of the essay....Write an introduction that introduces the subject and the points. Write one paragraph for each point and back it up with quotes from the book and write a conclusion.....Good luck...It is an easy book and is very good....

well it depends on what the subject of the essay is...but the basic rules to writing all essays:

include introduction, paragraphs, and conclusion
pick out the major points and themes of the book
include a FEW quotes from the book
focus on the what the authour was trieing to communicate by using certain themes/techniques
make sure you know all about the major characters and their role in the book

well thats all if u want more help click on the link

I won't be as harsh as Sarah but she is right. The book is short. You can easily read it in one day. As with most of Steinbeck's books, he writes about the poor farmworkers of depression era California. Much of his material is centered in the Salinas Valley where he lived (Monterey and vicinity). George is a big, dull witted farm worker who doesn't know his own strength. He loves little animals by hugging them to death, literally. His friend, smaller and smarter, tries to protect him from trouble but when George kills the bosses pretty lady friend, the protagonist cannot protect him any more.
You can take it from there.
