It means that since the last election in the fall of 2006...
That with the changing of the guard in Congress going from Republican's to Democrat's control...
It made their ratings fall FASTER and FARTHER below George W. Bush's rating and they have yet to actually do anything.

lets see congress approval 29% bush approval 33% I would say this proves only one thing, we need complete reform no one is really happy. more than 33% of the voter were Republicans so they really aren't happy, and Democrats had more than 29% of the votes so they are not happy, so no one is happy with the way things are going but yet we all blame one another and call each other names like little kids on a play ground. when if fact the only people really happy are the politicians and corporation owners.

No, Its means that bush and congress suck !
You don't really think a 33% approval rating for a president during a time of war is a good thing do you ?
And Pelosi's congress with a approval of 29%, no surprise there, people didn't vote for her and her friends - they voted against bush.
the silver lining - you could look at those numbers as a sign that a divided country is starting to come back together.
We all are starting to agree that our current leaders are bad.

As usual the clueless libs have misread the previous election as a mandate of the whacky agenda. What they don't get is that they won the majority because the conservatives in this country were disgusted with the spending and spinelessness of the Republicans. They have over reached and couldn't contain themselves til the next election, which they would have won if they would just shut up and act like normal people, but they couldn't help themselves, they were so giddy to be back in power. Well, that won't last long. Not with Pelosi and Reid running their socialists yaps off with hate America speech. God bless their pointy little heads, they are doing more to elect Rep. than they could ever do for themselves. Good job Nancy and Harry.....keep up the good work!

Actually, when it's broken down, the Republicans in Congress have the lower percentages and the Democrats come out ahead of both the Republicans and George Bush:

"How would you rate the job Republicans in Congress are doing: excellent, pretty good, only fair, or poor?"
4/20-23/07:
Excellent/Pretty Good 22%
Only Fair/Poor 74%

that's no longer conventional top now to intend that any one in u.s. ought to in all hazard be hated greater effective than the present President. The Media comments what they think of maximum people want to pay attention. in the event that they tacked on "Oh, and all of us hate the Congress, too" it turns the tale into something anti-government as quickly as all of us want to sense that we are quite patriotic, that's merely that guy Dubbya mucking the country up. i detect it exciting that your question would not explicitly state which you help Bush, yet various of your replies are as abrasive as in case you will published "OMG BUSH IS TEH terrific!!!" My familiar is the single telling you to close up, because's definitely a mature thank you to handle people who present day you with suggestions that would not smartly greater wholesome with your international-view - merely scream at them till they pass away. advantageous. All Media is biased one way or yet another. some are greater glaring than others, yet on the tip of the day that's solid to undergo in innovations that one and all Media shops have an time table, and on the tip of the day that's to make funds and air despite sells. (attempting to stir public sentiment and enact coverage replace can from time to time be secondary objectives.)

Ummm... Congress has a fluctuating approval rating. Bush has had a steady, low approval percentage. Doesn't that indicate that Congress is at least getting it right part of the time, while Bush has been a steady failure?
