My Love & I aren't big into the bar scene, or even gambling. We're going because that's where his general manager's convention is being held. We'll be staying at Treasure Island.
Any thoughts on where us old, boring folks can go to enjoy stuff?! LOL!!

The major casinos will have shows running, you can ask about them when you check in at Treasure Island. You should be able to find something for any budget.
My favorite thing to do is just walk up the Strip and stop into all of the places you've heard about. Since the casinos are public, you can easily just walk in and look around. Check out the MGM Grand, New York New York, Circus Circus, the Bellagio...
And I think last time I went there was a tour bus that took you around the Strip and gave information about certain features and how the area developed.

I went to the Venetian last Nov 06 and got more then 100$ worth of free vouchers (Madam Tussards, Gondola ride & a dinner).
I got these just by attending a no obligation talk by Marriot at their nearby hotel.
The talk is about selling of property by Marriot in Las Vegas and it lasted for less than an hour.
The salesman was professional and did not exert any pressure for me to sign the deal. I politely rejected the offer and was given the vouchers with 'no questions asked'.

Oh there is lots to do for people like you & your love
lots of shows to see & some are free... there is a huge mall there so big its a day there for sure :) the grand canyon is not too far to go see awesome was the highlight of our trip there last year
check out the las vegas websites & your sure to find lots to do
also check out all the hotels (if your into that ) some of them are AWESOME

Go check out all the casinos on the strip- some are really amazing. We stayed at the Paris & you can go up in the Eiffel Tower, also I like at the MGM the lions, you can walk under them. Check and see what good shows are going on. We also rented a car and drove up to Red Rock Canyon. You will have fun :)

Boulder Dam
go to Freemont St.. they have an overhead show every hour at the start of the hour.awesome at night
Walk up to the Belagio and watch trhe water show its every 15 min starting at 10 or 11 local time
go to the top of the Eifel tower at the Paris..go to theMGM and see the lions
but most of all HAVE FUN

Go to the Stratosphere, they've got a great ride there, and great views. And go to Fremont at night. It's like an outdoor square with a giant overhang where they show videos, live bands, it's amazing.

Lake Mead, Hoover Dam tours for starts, if you have the time. Enjoy the spectacular Bellagio fountain show outdoors for free.

JUST WALKING THE STRIP IS FUN. YOU HAVE TO SEE THE LIGHT/WATER SHOW AT THE BELLAGIO. FANTASTIC.
