Every time I turn the TV on there is a new one coming out. I'd just rather follow regular regular old comedy or drama when you know nothing is real.

I am SO sick of *reality shows* I could toss my cookies. I admit I did watch the very first episode of "Survivor" because it was such a new concept back then. I never watch it now. Tribal counsel, bah. Big Brother was entertaining at first, but quickly got boring. I have a feeling, (a very good feeling) that these are not actually "reality shows". I think they're totally scripted. For instance, on the first episode of "Survivor" the *villain* (the gay guy who walked naked on the beach and was so conceited) won. I remember living in this 8 unit apartment complex, and when he won (Richard Hatch) I could hear this collective groan of disappointment! I also hate "Fear Factor" too. I just don't want to see a bunch of people eat disgusting things. (Susan, I AGREE with you totally on "The Bachelor"- I mean, COME ON, you just know the marriage won't work out. And the girls are so bitchy and mean. And the guy usually turns out to be a deceptive jerk. )

I hearl over them. I responded to one of those question about reality shows, TEE HE, just for fun. All these reality shows on t.v. are fueled by the shows producers and directors and telling these people what they want to get on video tape and later edit the tape and piece together what would seem to create the atmosphere of originality of the reality shows premise. It's all "HOLLYWOOD" in my opinion. If these reality show producers really want reality just set up cameras and refrain from telling people what to do and not what to do. By that I mean is don't do "Big Brother" and etc. I agree that
"The Joe Schmo Show" was unique. Bring back " My Name Is Earl" next season if possible I know that show seems dumb, but it was funny. (comedy-wise that is.)

I don't mind them for the most part but some I like better then others. Right now I'm loving Charm School, I Love New York and Top Model. I hate Amer. Idol and Dancing with the Stars. So it just depends.

Yet? I've been sick of them for years. But it is solid gold to a network. You have a season of episodes, where you pay only one of your cast. You have a cast that people are guaranteed to identify with. What is great is that the reality craze has made the dramas that last top-notch.

You are kidding! How can you get sick of watching regular people willingly making complete as*es of themselves and show it to everyone.

However, I am getting sick of celebrities reality TV shows. I think "The Osbournes" were the most original, but whoever tried to repeat their success failed miserably: Flavor Flav, Hogan, Anna-Nicole Smith, and my absolutely favorite screw-ups: Brittney and Kev and "Tuna of the Valley" Jessica and Nick. Lots of these folks maybe can sing but they cannot act even if they are filming their own life.

Reality t.v. shows are interesting. You get to live out lives that are so much exciting and interesting then the one you currently have. I used to love them when in my freshman year.
