Guiliani is for getting people to vote for him... and when it comes down to it when he was in NY he wanted to get rid of many gay clubs and the like because it wasant "family frendly" and if he is for gay rights its for the heavily closeted LOG CABIN REPUBLICANS not the happy healthy openly gay person...

It's true, and that's awesome, but at the same time, as mayor of New York, he also underhandedly shut down or made it imipossible for GLBT venues to thrive, because they were apparently not fitting in with the "quality of life".

I know; my favorite drag king bar, Club Casanova, quietly got pushed out in just that way.

So I'm happy that he's for GLBT rights- we could use more Republicans like that- but it also seems like there are some suspicious things underneath that, too.

Yes! I was pleasantly suprised... he's also for women's right to choose.

In michigan we can vote in whatever primary we want, I'm going to vote for Rudy. Doubt I'll vote for him after that, but he's deffinitely the most free thinking republican as far as I can see.

Rudi Guiliani is for anything that will bring him a vote...do not fall for this do-nothing man...He is a bag of hot air. And how could any gay man even consider the Republican Party as a logical choice???? This Party stands for your extinction...get that once and for all.

He hasn't made a secret of it. Any one who has paid any attention to the campaigns would know he supports gay 'rights' and is pro-choice. He would fit better on the Democrat ticket.

I knew.
He's for not dictating to the nth degree on a lot of social issues that don't need government's intervention.

He also has Steve Forbes on his bandwagon.

Go Rudy!

I was aware, but he had to oppose gay marriage to make himself more appealing to more conservative voters. Hopefully he supported that in the debate in some way

No, I didn't know that. But it seems right. He has always sounded like a fair and reasonable person from what I hear.

Yes, I knew that. He is also pro-choice.

Just two of the reasons the Republican party will never endorse him...
