Money's out, these are kids that work for us, so we want to get them something that they'll remember or think of us when they see/use it.

I think you should get them something personal, based on their personality, but useful. For example, my friend's daughter is very artsy so I got her a nice necklace. It was made of very large one-of-a-kind glass beads that were hand blown so it was very unique. I knew she would appreciate it. It's modern and it's something she can use, it won't just sit on a bookshelf collecting dust for years.

If they like sports, buy a special jersey or tickets to a game... If they like music, buy tickets to a concert they really want to go to.

If they are driving to college, a nice gas gift card would really be appreciated, especially with the rising costs of gas. Plus, they can keep the card as a reminder of the great gift you gave them!

For my graduation I got money and 8 billion bath towels in every color under the sun. It must have been the hot thing to buy for grads that year.

If they are going to college get them an alarm clock. If you are rich get them luggage or go in with a few others and get them luggage. Money is always the best thing or a gift certificate ........

for a male it would have to be money! and for a female, money would work too, but i noticed that i received alot of jewelry and i still have it, so either would possibly work for a girl.=)

I would probably give them a (homemade) gift basket type thing, with several personalized gifts.
