I'm thinking about Fido, they seem to have the best prices.
Is that a good choice?

It depends on where you'll be using your phone the most. Fido has great prices because their service is limited to major cities, like Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, etc. If you sign up with Fido and want to use the phone outside of the major cities, you'll have to pay an additional fee to roam on Rogers' towers in the more rural areas. You can also only sign onto Fido in those cities, so unless you're moving to one, Fido won't be available to you.
I'm biased, because I work for Rogers, but I do think Rogers has some great plans, prices and promotions on right now. But, as always, do some research on the area you are moving to. All of the cell companies in Canada have dead spots and you'll want to know which ones work best where you're going.
