Why in the world would you have it done now? There are no benefits, and there are significant drawbacks. You don't have to have it done at all. Even if it's a tradition in your family, it's your body, and you can insist on being left alone. When you move to the States, you will find that lots of boys your age are not cut.

ADVANTAGES OF BEING INTACT:
--Circumcision cuts WAY down on sexual enjoyment for the man due to loss of nerve-rich foreskin. A new study proves conclusively that circumcision decreases sensitivity for the man. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x
--Getting cut causes the glans (head) to develop a keratinized layer to protect from rubbing on clothing, further cutting sensation.
--nine out of ten women who have had both prefer intact penises: http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html That's really pretty definitive.
--foreskin makes masturbation more fun - and better for your partner to play with.
--Circumcision can be very painful during the recovery period. Some guys say it isn't so bad, while others say it is the worst pain they have ever experienced.
--Uncut is much hotter looking.
--Circumcision is surgery and has some chance of complications.
ADVANTAGES OF BEING CUT: Circumcision has no advantages that are not fictional or only relevant in a few areas
--You can be just as clean if you are uncircumcised. Wash. It's THAT simple. Even if you're cut, you still need to wash.
--Some studies have shown a lower rate of cancer of the penis in cut guys, but this cancer is so rare that it's hard to get a good statistical sample. More boys/men die each year from botched circumcisions than from cancer of the penis.
--Some reports from Africa say that circumcision reduces the risk of AIDS from unprotected hetrosexual activity. Other reports ay the opposite. This has little relevance to areas of the world where condoms are cheap, readily available, and culturally acceptable. The US has the highest circumcision rate in the developed world and also the highest AIDS rate in that group. http://www.circinfo.org/hiv.html

Unless you have a medical condition that requires it, or a religious reason, there is no need for a circumcision.

Circumcision removes the foreskin completely, which includes thousands of nerve endings that give you sexual pleasure when you masturbate. After the operation, the head of the penis will be permanently exposed, and will develop a protective layer of inert keretin, which further dulls sensation.

Do not let them circumcise you unless you (a) really want it, or (b) there is a condition that cannot be corrected any other way. Almost all conditions can be corrected without a full circumcision.

The American Medical Association and the American Association of Pediatrics both agree; there is NO medical reason for routine circumcision.

yes. they would cut through the veins but it will cause no problems. they are usually cauterized to stop the bleeding.
there really is no need for you to get circumsized anyway. some will argue that it is cleaner and prevents infection. i would disagree.those are usually the people who have never dealt with this matter. i have three son's and a husband, all of whom are not circumsizes. none have ever had a problem with infection or disease. if you know how to wash your body, there is no problem. i know you are a little young to hear this but, sex is better too. once you are older of course. if you are considering getting circumsized, think carefully. it isn't a neccesity and why go through that pain if you don't have to?

The most important thing to remember about circumcision is that it's one way. Once you've done it, you've done it for good. If it's necessary for religious or medical reasons, that's fine, but sometimes docs just want to do them for trivial reasons, sometimes in the antiquated belief that it reduces masturbation.

But to answer your question, they will control the bleeding during the procedure. But it's going to be very painful in recovery, and 13 is a tough age because you get so many erections.

Ask you doctor about all these things before you schedule the procedure.

Yes they will cut the skin covering your Glance penis but I am happy to tell you neither you will bleed ( because of dithermy) nor you will have a late recovery as well as no pain or to be more precise negligible pain. Don't think go for it.

Why the heck do you want to do this?

Yes, they will cut through the veins and will cauterize where necessary.

Yes they will cut through the veins but they will also stop the bleeding immediately with a special instument called cautery. Circumcision is really a realitively quick procedure and you will better off in the long run. Believe me.....your future wife will be grateful :-)

as with any surgery, they will cut through blood vessels. but they cauterize it to stop the bleeding. it's not a big surgery; about 30min or so. visit a urologist for more info.
