Hello, I am on a hunt for a small car (I love little hatchbacks). However, I also need something with a powerful engine, since all my driving is on highways in southern NY. So far, nothing has really fit the bill, but I thought the ford focus hatchback looked like a great candidate (haven't gotten over there for a test drive yet). However, in the course of my internet search, i can't find any evidence of a focus hatchback with automatic transmission... does it seriously only come in manual? If anyone knows, i'd appreciate some info (and feel free to make personal suggestions, etc.!) Thank you!

The manual trans is standard but the automatic has always been an option for the Focus ..any year...any trim level.....EXCEPT for ST (and older SVT Focus.)
