I also can'tgo into tools then int opts, could I have a virus that keeps me off the internet. I called my ISP and they can't find a reason I can't connect. I called Linksys & they tell me I have a browser issue. Tried to install Mozilla it won't work because I'm on wireless network.Can't get in internet at all. I am in desperate need off help. Also, I am not very computer literate, so please provide simple answers so I my try to fix and resolve my problem. I am running my desk top off my sisters lap top, she has a D-Link wireless router and I have no problem getting on the internet with her lap top. I use to be able to access internet before, I can still use Spybot, I don't understand why I can't get online. My signal strength shows as very good connection and shows I am connected. I am puzzled and frustrated beyond words. I hope someone can give me step by step instructions on how to fix ! I greatly appreciate any help someone can give me. I hope you were able to understand my problem

My Network places > Properties
Under your wireless card, go into the properties and look fot the TCP/IP protocol
Make sure that you have a DNS Server set up. It should be the address of your wireless router. That will tell the computer to get the information for reaching the Internet from your router.

Sounds like your D-link router is not a G router possibly only a B router.
