You know, I suffer from this condition. I don't share food or drinks with anyone. I never have and neither has my wife. Yes, it's a bit strange, but it just grosses me out. I don't see how people can bite a sandwich that some one else bit. I'm strange like that. The sex juices or whatever don't bother me for some reason. Yes, I know this is wierd. Shoot me.

If a utensil looks dirty in a restaurant or even at home, if it's not my mate that's used it, I'll barely touch it enough to get it away from my plate, even if it's used by a family member because I just have no idea where their mouths been. When it comes to the mate, though, there's a certain amount of faith required to believe we won't be sharing outside the union, so unless that's questionable I wouldn't give it a thought.

Not at all. We eat off the same plate every night. Saves on the water bill only having to wash one plate and it's romantic.

No, that doesn't gross me out nor does the plate and silver ware thing. I can think of a lot of other things that are gross.

I used to! I don't know why, but ever since I was a little kid and someone offered me a drink of their glass I would go "No thank you, it's drooled on", which meant it was dirty in my eyes.

I was like that for most of my childhood until my third boyfriend, who would get pissed off when I didn't drink from his glass, or get a bit of something when he offered me with his fork or whatever.

I drink of his glass and eat with his fork if he offers me, but that's as far as I go. I don't grab other's people glasses or such, unless it's my mum, dad, or him.

I know..........I agree with you...........once me and my husband were eating breakfast at Cracker Barrel and I gave him a bite of something off my plate, there was this couple in there that just had a fit over that, you should have seen their faces and the look they gave us.

Nope. We drink from the same cup all the time. Nasty nice people are prudes-in the bedroom too I would guess.

Not a problem, but if we're sharing yogurt we each have to have our own spoons! I don't know why, but the yogurt sticks to the spoon and it's just GROSS.
