Just for the record. I quit being abused by the oil companies in March 2004 when gas hit $2 a gallon. I can ride a lot of taxis for $1800 a year. I walk to do my errands most times.

no, it was pointless.. People tried to do this in 2002 also, its just a "rumor".. I work in the oilfield and Trust me when i say, that it will make NO difference whether you buy your gas today, monday, saturday, You'll still buy it!

People need to cut back on driving period... Walk more, dont drive across shopping centers in circles trying to find a closer spot. Ride your bike anywhere possible, etc.

I didn't buy gas yesterday. Those boycotts don't work anyways. They just buy gas the day before or the day after it, so the oil company is still going to get the money.

You're lucky yours only went up 2 cents a gallon. In my neck of the woods, it went up 20 cents. Just for the record, no, I didn't boycott gas on purpose yesterday, I just didn't need any.

I didn't buy gas, but I had no plans to boycott it. What good would it do? None. The only way a real boycott would work is if we all started riding bikes instead.

lol That is to funny. Yes I did boycott gas yesterday, and today when I went to get gas it had went up four cents where I live. I think we are all struggling to get up stream.
