If you are not experiencing any problem w/ your PC, BETTER NOT mess around w/ BIOS. Updating BIOS is not for newbies. If something goes wrong during the process, you might end up with a useless mobo.

There is a very easy and safe way.
Along with the ASUS mainboard, comes a ASUS-Utility Cd, there in a Utility there that can help you upgrade your BIOS comfortably using the Windows operating system. It will automatically download the new BIOS and help you upgrade it nicely and more comfortably rather than using complicated BIOS floppies and no mouse.

You should visit Asus' website, look up your model of motherboard, then download the latest BIOS and follow their instructions on how to update it.

They may provide a utility which can automate the process for you; it basically just involves rebooting, copying the new BIOS over the old, then rebooting again.

you can download the latest bios version for your main board at the manufactureres site... which would be ASUS website.

They should have instructions along with the updated file.

Just follow everything that they tell you to do.. or your gonna mess up the entire main board.

good luck
