It's like they absorb knowledge out of the air, as if there were atoms of smartness just lurking about

I too am extremely impressed with the amount of information teenagers know.
But, what really makes me raise my eyebrows in awe is the fact that they are also physically invincible! They can drive cars at incredible speeds, jaywalk across almost any highway, ignorantly experiment with mind-altering substances, and all this without the fear that they could somehow get hurt, or worse, DEAD! This, I can only explain, is because they are somehow physically invincible.
Ah, to know everything and be invincible again, wouldn't that be nice?

No one on the face of this earth knows EVERYTHING. We always have a lot to learn. There is always more to learn, to know and to experience. True, there are very smart teenagers who know a lot, and this is mostly because of television and the internet, but no one know everything.

remember this is one of the most valuable resources us old geezers have. I used to know everything then i just stopped thinking. I guess I lost my edge. Well all I can really say then is we need to make sure to utilize these teenagers now while they ARE still smart enough to know everything.

They proudly like to tell me just how intelligent short form spelling looks. It's why I like being on here during the day. Too many get home from school of an evening and get emo on here.

They don't know shi*t from sherlock. And neither did we when we were teenagers although we thought we did. But it's ok, if their ego need to be fed, then feed it. They will learn the truth sooner or later just as we all have learned.
