Not at all,the loss of 1 day will in no way be noticed by them...Now if you really wanted to draw attention everyone would unite and refuse to buy it over the week of July 4th.This is a great time for a boycott as many are off work and could stay home.The oil companies expect huge profit over the 4th holiday,and would be shocked if noone bought their product.

i doubt it. the cost of gas went up two cents at my local service station. i think these boycotts are a nobel idea in theory but really have no impact on the oil companys or gas prices. people will just end up filling their tanks on another day. if people really want to affect change in this area then its up to them to buy more fuel efficiant cars and write or call their congressman and ask them to push for renewable energy sources.

Gas prices here jumped 20-23¢ overnight. So, I guess not.
I still say we dip into those billion dollar profits and give everyone one free tank of gas (at least). That they would pay attention to. âº
