Depending on the class in history and English I prefer essay but in anatomy and other classes where I can't BS I'll choose multiple choice.

I'm the same way! I can study for hours and bomb a multiple choice test...yet, if I skip studying all together, I can ace an essay test just with the insane amount of BS I'm harboring in my head somewhere.

I prefer multiple choice tests because it gives you a wide chance at choosing the correct answer. Essay test are only good when you know exactly what you're talking about or you've studied.

I remember, when I was in high school, I LOVED essay tests, because I thought like you did. I was like, "YES....at least I have a chance to kind of make up my answer and still get points!" Multiple choice was a pain because, on top of only being allowed to choose one right answer, they tried to TRICK you!!! UGH! They would make one A LITTLE bit wrong and then I'd second guess myself. Grrr to multiple choice tests.

To be completely honest, I prefer multiple choice because I am naturally lazy. Although I guess it might depend how important the test is in the course of my life.

I like essays because if there is multipul choice I get confused but if is essay and I don't know the answer I just wing it I start writing things like when it all started and therefore and I write big to make it look like alot! But I really don't know the answer

Multiple Choice. However, my professor this past semester made us defend our selections. That was worse than just doing an essay.
