I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES! I LIVE IN A BEACH GUESTHOUSE. THE SEPTIC TANK NEED PUMPING THAT SERVICES THE MAIN AND GUESTHOUSE. IT IS LOCATED IN A BEDROOM!!! THE OWNER FLIPPED OPEN A HATCH IN A LOWER FLOOR BEDROOM AND THERE WAS THE TANK...HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF THIS? THE HOUSE HAS A TERRIBLE SMELL TO IT.

very funny..fumes are not fatal but it may be a good idea to point it out anyway for a rent reduction. Rent here is $45,000 per month..
that is forty five thousand dollard per month!

No, the fumes are fatal, I am sure its against the law

The fumes ARE a cause for explosion or death. Same as any sewer system, septics contain sewage which can contain Methane gas. If you use ammonia for cleaning, and also use bleach for cleaning, these two chemicals cause a deadly gas when mixed.
