Anyone wonder why the Left never called for Clinton to be charged with war crimes for the illegal attack/invasion of :
Iraq
Afghanistan
Serbia
Haiti
Kosavo
Sudan.
All without either Congressional or UN approval.
.
You used the wrong country, the Bosnia mission was a UN mission.
The only time Clinton used the US military legally.

Clinton didn't electively wage war with Bosnia. The US and the UN tried for a long time to get Milosivec to stop slaughtering people and start leading the country like he said he was going to do. After a long long time of negotiating he wouldn't listen to anyone. So they went there with minimal force and policed the area with numerous troops from around the world in support of the UN. Not even some what similar. Only a few hundred soldiers were even allowed to leave the base. It was a total police action that is all.

As prominent former US officials, including Henry Kissinger and Jimmy Carter, have admitted, the prewar talks at Rambouillet were not negotiations, but an attempt to impose an ultimatum on the Serbs, to provide a pretext for military action. The Serbs were told to sign the Rambouillet agreement or be bombed. There were no US combat casualties in the war, and American pilots were hardly ever in danger as they dropped thousands of tons of bombs on a virtually undefended country. Clinton makes the Serbs responsible for the civilian casualties by suggesting that they fired on US planes "from populated areas." This charge is particularly stupid, since it condemns the Serbs for using anti-aircraft weapons to defend their cities against US bombers.
"Helpless indignation" is an apt phrase for the reaction of many millions of people around the world to the unrestrained American use of military power to smash up small countries which stand in the way of Washington and Wall Street.
The Clintonesta's have very short memories. I find it remarkable they keep telling us to forget about Cliton--he's not in office anymore......seems they already have. And Danny Bmore needs to learn a little more about his hero and what he really did in office.

Not that I think you'll bother to read this, but...
My objection to the war in Iraq is an individual objection, not just a blanket objection to the concept of war in general. War is a necessary evil, but should only be used when absolutely necessary in order to remain effective. Bush rushed into this war, and he's getting out of it what he put into it - the seeds of a poorly planned war grow into a barren plant.

The dissenting 'liberal' was John McCain who stood before Congress and petitioned Congress to cut off funding after the loss of 18 soldiers. He said the blood was on Congress' hands. Why aren't over 3000 dead important to him now? Because it is not the 'popular' thing to think?

yeah, i wondered that myself. then again, clinton had a republican majority in the house and senate. the democrats had to shut up and go along with the republicans to get things done, to top it off, clinton pulled out the veto pen constantly.
