McCain should not be talking about fiscal responsibility after being in Congress the last six years. We need someone who has the balls to stand up and veto a transportation bill with tens of billions in pork attached. I am not certain that any of these candidates have that kind of fortitude.

Because that is what their constituency expects to hear. You think a hard core Republican would vote for a candidate that presented himself as someone who was NOT financially conservative? Of course not.
All of these candidates are going to do what they want to do - regardless of what their party / platform is. But to get their foot in the door, they have to convince the people that they are going to make positive changes for their lives. But to a degree, that is the peoples' fault. At some point people stopped looking at candidates and wondered "who will do the best job" and started to wonder "who can do the most for me."

The Neo-con-man goal is to bankrupt America in order to justify a North American Union, get rid of the dollar and introduce the "Amero" (similar to the Euro).
They also want to put an end to America's Sovereignty and its Constitution, as the Constitution is "an antiquated document" (according to Gonzalez) and "just a god damned piece of paper" (according to Bush).
But don't get it twisted. The Neo-Libs are on board with this agenda, as the neo-cons and neo-libs play for the same team. partisanship is a smokescreen perpetuated by our cooperate controlled media designed to divide and conquer "We The People", the rightful "deciders" in this country.

I believe the republicans actually believe they are the best creation for family values - but that's not the case when they can't even OFFER family values. One needs to look beyond party politics for the answer to your question.

Please try to get your facts straight. Democrats passed "pay go". That is fact. Another fact. Republicans want to end Social Security. They have had that goal for many years. When Republicans say they want "fiscal responsibility" that means end Social Security..
