Judgment is when we use existential statements to describe ourselves or others.
For example, "she is lazy", "he is boring", "they are stupid".
These are judgments. When we do this to ourselves, the feeling is very unpleasant. When we judge others, we also feel the unpleasantness.
There is also those judgments of right and wrong. When we judge others behaviours, we also experience unpleasantness. We experience anger if someone does something to us and guilt when we do something towards others.
If someone were to say to me, "I'm stupid" that person is abusing their self. It would never acceptable for someone else to call that person stupid, so I consider it just as unacceptable for me to say that about myself.
I am human and I make mistakes. That doesn't mean "stupid".
As to why, that is up for debate. Why would anyone abuse another person, or themselves verbally?

You are all: criminal, prosecutor, jury, and judge.
When one finds oneself doing this, one should stop and ask oneself. Who is the doer? Who is judging. The attention should be shifted from the deed to the doer.
Such analysis will eventually stop all self judgment by removing the provocation.

Judgment in the Bible (Judge not or you will be judged) is condemnation not feedback.
Assessing self or feedback is vital. Condemnation is like black magic, it hold you and others back and comes back to you as a karmic return

specific to the two. Passing judgment on myself is in basic terms about as useful as passing judgment on somebody else! i've got not got self assurance "judgment" fairly has something to do with improving. that's a "undesirable" or "sturdy" thought, I ought to or wouldn't have. a lot of people think of of the previous, & "blunders" made. yet have been they actually blunders? in case you would be able to desire to (& customarily you are able to) song the implications of an action or state of being inactive, you are able to detect that what you first perceived as a mistake, had very advantageous effects. i'm no longer asserting to no longer advance or learn, yet to "evaluate" somewhat than decide one's life. the main straightforward--working example--smile or scowl echoes perpetually, & who's to assert what limitless impression they made? enjoyed guru's answer, & scorpion besides. To me, each little thing in life has solidarity, (non-judgmental) in the full of issues. Even what could look an excellent tragedy on the time of its happening.

I do not pass judgment on myself .
I try and revalue my values as time goes on.
I try to shape my life according to my values .
I try to be aware about my life and duties .
