i haven't seen the any of the movies of 'star wars'...
should i watch from episode 1 or from 4??? i m really confused :(

You should always watch the original trilogy first. Start with #4. It was the first made and it is way better then #1.
My friend had never watched Star Wars before and she started with #1 and she didn't really get what the big deal with Star Wars is. (Blasphemy.) Then she went back and saw it starting with #4 and got why geeks like me were so hyped about the movies.

I'm going against the majority here cause episodes 1 & 2 SUCK.
Watch the originals (episodes 4-6). They are by far the best of the bunch. And if you want, then back track and watch episodes 1-3.

You should start from episode 1 The Phantom Menace. That's where the story of Darth Vader begins with him being a young boy named Anakin Skywalker. I won't try and ruin the details for you, but I believe that's the best choice. Then just follow along with 2-6.

there are major inconsistencies between the original trilogy and the new one, the original trilogy was ground breaking and monumental, revolutionizing the entire sci-fi genera, the new trilogy was just another scifi movie with a huge budget
i personally would recommend watching the originals first, that way you can blame the bad writing properly on the new 3 but if you have a hard time watching old movies with bad hair and older (but in my opinion better) special effects then watch the new trilogy

Watch 4 first. If you like it, then go back to the beginning. The original is the one that hooks you.
