On the 14th of June, I will be flying from Heathrow to America. I need to travel from Newcastle to Heathrow, however, easyjet only do a flight to standstead for £24.99 with tax included. BA costs £50 from Newcastle to Heathrow so would prefer easy jet if possible. How far away from Heathrow is stanstead? What are the cheapest means of travelling between the 2 and are these easy forms of transport? How much would a taxi cost from stantead to heathrow and how long would it take. Thanks

Easiest way is National Express coach. However this can take 2 hours and costs £20.
Take the direct flight. You may be able to check your bags all the way through to America so no need to check in at Heathrow. So loads of time saved as well.

they're opposite ends of London ... Stansted is northeast and Heathrow is west

there's a train service from Stansted into Liverpool Street station in London ... then you'd have to take the tube to Heathrow, which would mean changing tube lines ... all of which is time-consuming and expensive too

you're probably cheaper getting the flight direct to Heathrow, and save yourself an awful lot of time
