I run fast for the threshhold of the door! It's just instinct now. ;-)

I live in Indiana, so we don't get many earthquakes, but the one time we did (about 20 years ago), I was babysitting a brandnew baby and was scared to death! But I actually ran outside to see if there was something pushing on the house or something! How dumb was that!?! For fear there would be a gas leak in the house, (and there would be another episode) I packed the baby up and took him home to my house for rest of the evening!

Well, I live in the East and we don't get those (at least I don't think we do) but before I used to live in the Caribbean and there's a tectonic plate. I would, in all honestly, run and look for my mommy.

I usually log on to the USGS web site and find out the magnitude, type, and location of the quake.

I find my Margarita then run for cover...
I'd only panic if I couldn't find my Margarita

Don't have earthquakes in FL, just hurricanes and the occasional tornado.

I pause, then run to someone, so I'm not alone all the while panicking like a wuss.
