Yep - Baseball really only has the Americas & Japan who play to any degree.

Cricket is widely followed in Australia, the UK, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, West Indies and some other emerging countries. I am pretty sure that Cricket wins

Totally disagree. Cricket is mostly played in British Commonwealth countries around the world, while baseball is universal. This was clearly evident in last year's World Baseball Championships. They had many more countries represented than this year's Cricket World Cup. Check the facts!

Cricket defiantly has more followers India would beat it on there own. The yanks are just insecure about there sports as they are so dull! what skill is involved in baseball? throw the ball as hard as you can, hit the ball as hard as you can, catch the ball. They dont understand the concepts and intricacies of our beautiful game the doozra the googly the cover drive the sweep, only a few, of the thousands of things going on in a game of Cricket!

It depends on what you mean by "followers". The countries that follow cricket certainly have a larger total population (though only because of India). However, I would think that followers of baseball do so with more intensity than followers of cricket.

Do they play Baseball in India or Pakistan? No, so quite obviously cricket. By the way has anyone asked why they get so much money for playing rounders?

During India's recent world cup games, over 1 billion Indians watched each game.

South Africa
Australasia
Asia
Europe. As well as England, the game is growing across Europe.

hardly a small audience.

As for passion, India and Pakistan have almost had a war over cricket.

The Ashes produce enormous passions between the countries.

Baseball? Who else plays it other than the Yanks. Isn't it a boys version of rounders, played by girls?

Difficult to say. Baseball is basically American. Cricket is played most of the world over.

The question comes down to are there are more people in India, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Britain, etc than there are in the USA.

Cricket is more popular within nations.

5 times in a week? You've asked this question 5 times in a week. I suppose you simply didn't bother reading the community guidelines, right? OF did you simply think that they don't apply to you?

Changing the working of your question doesn't change your question.

This is absolutely aside from the fact that cricket is actually LOSING popularity worldwide, while baseball is gaining it.
