My living expenses are in line w/ my salary, PTL.
Here in NW Ohio, rent for a two bedroom apt. can go from $385-$600/mo. For a one bedroom it can range from $350-$500.

Mortgage payments will vary depending on the type of house. You can buy a really nice 4 bedroom home in a nice neighborhood for $100,000 or sometimes less.
3 bedroom homes are a dime a dozen and you can find those for $65,000 to $85,000.
I've seen some people's PITI mortgage payments as low as $485!
The prices sound great, but no one wants to live here. The area is kinda depressed. :-(
(as am I!) lol.

Fairfield county Connecticut.

Rent for 1 bedrooms will range from 1k-2k and for 2 bedrooms about 1300-3000.

We own a 2 bedroom townhouse and the mortgage is 1800 a month. We make about 100k combined.

Sonora CA, I presently pay $1,100 per month including taxes and insurance. I'm doing a refinance and paymemts will increase to about $1800 PITI.

I need and will pay off some outstanding debt to accomplish the above and must disipline myself to keep debt at a minimum.

It is so easy to place items on a credit card and it takes years to pay off a lesson learned.

Totally being honest.
